This site consists of an Aimhigher Syllabus that lists what students are expected to know about higher education. The syllabus covers school years 9 through to 13.
Aimhigher students will be able to take a series of quizes that are based on 4 levels - students must gain a score of 85% before they can move up a level. The quizez will identify gaps in students' understanding. This will then identify topics that need further teaching.
The Aimhigher tests will be taken online in school, and results will be fed back instantly to the student, together with the correct answers to the questions. In addition, the school will have instant feedback on what students do and do not understand, and this information will be used to ensure Aimhigher activities cover gaps in student understanding.
This system will enable schools to demonstrate that their Aimhigher programme is having an IMPACT on students' learning
